Digging Up the Truth

History often reveals itself by what it has left behind. Your students will learn how archaeology helps us uncover the past. Assume the role of an archaeologist by using information gathered in class and during the on-site program to piece together what went on at Boone Hall Plantation. Once the students are finished with their investigation, they will submit and discuss their findings with the project manager (the education staff).

Price: $9.00 for Students, $7.00 for Chaperones, Teachers Free
* Education programs do not include house tours.

Grades: 6th – 8th *South Carolina Standards fulfilled

Limit: 40 students per program
