EDUCATION PROGRAMS

Boone Hall offers nine unique education programs for school groups visiting the plantation. All programs require a minimum of fifteen students and must be paid for in advance. For the benefit of the students, we recommend no more than 2-3 parent chaperones per class. Made-to-order boxed lunches are available for an additional fee.

PLANTATION PROGRAMS

Beyond the big house

Visit Boone Hall and learn about slavery on a Carolina Plantation. Tour the grounds, the smokehouse and some of the 18th century slave dwellings. Learn about the Gullah people and culture at a 30-minute Gullah Theater Presentation.

Experience the natural beauty of the South Carolina Lowcountry as we explore the plantation grounds. Learn about South Carolina flora and fauna and take a tractor-pulled wagon ride to see the crops growing on our farm.
